Organic agriculture includes all agricultural systems that promote the environmentally, socially and economically sound production of food. These systems take local soil fertility as a key to successful production.

It is a certified production method which records every stage from production to consumption, by respecting the natural capacity of plants, animals and lanscape, it aims to optimize quality in all aspects of agriculture and environment. Organic agriculture dramatically reduces external impacts by refraining from the use of chemosynthetic, fertilizers, pesticides and pharmaceuticals. Instead, it allows the powerful laws of nature to increase both agricultural yields and disease resistance.

Organic agriculture implies   ‘’Understanding the farm as an organism, microorganisms, insects, plants, animals and humans interact to create a coherent, self regulating and stable whole.
Based on agro-ecological principles of diversity and soil fertility management, organic farming implies a degree of awareness of the functioning of, and inter-relationships (between animals, plants, and the environment) within the farm system.

Sampling From Fields and Fruit Gardens Before Harvest
